We offer customers a variety of sugarcane fertilisers to help meet the nutritional needs of their crop.

Our extensive range of sugarcane fertilisers is listed below. For help determining which Bio Dunder liquid fertiliser may best suit your crop's nutritional requirements, use our Fert Finder or contact one of our agronomists.

  • Bio Dunder®

Standard Bio Dunder is for use in a broad range of crop and fallow situations. A good source of immediately available potassium for sugarcane crops and can be sprayed to fallows prior to planting.

  • Comet 1

A specialty product for soils with high phosphorus and low nitrogen requirements. Can be used as a top dress on plant cane or as a pre-plant fertiliser.

  • Comet 3

A specialty product used as either a pre-plant fertiliser or a top dress for plant cane, where no DAP (Diammonium phosphate) or other liquid fertilisers have been used, as demonstrated in independent agronomic trials. Use is recommended in conjunction with soil testing to ensure the correct rate is applied to achieve optimum crop production.

  • Econo LOS

A nitrogen/Bio Dunder® mix to better cater to sugarcane soils that have lower potassium reserves. Best suited to the Sarina, Mackay and Proserpine districts.

  • Econo LOS+P

A complete NPKS (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur) mix to suit sugarcane soils with low potassium reserves and that require a moderate level of phosphorus. A popular mix for ratoon sugarcane in the Sarina, Mackay and Proserpine districts.

  • Hi K Ratooner, MKY 120P

Designed to provide a range of management options for soils with lower nitrogen and moderate phosphorus requirements. Often used by growers seeking a split application product where soils require mill mud or have low phosphorus levels.

  • Hi N

Offers a high nitrogen to potassium ratio and is commonly used on ratoon sugarcane. Best suited to the Burdekin district, particularly the delta region where irrigation waters generally have high potassium levels.

  • Hi N+P

Predominantly for use on sugarcane in the BRIA area of the Burdekin. A standard mix providing all of the NPKS (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur) for a large percentage of ratoon cane in the region.

  • Liquid 50/50

Specifically designed for top dressing plant cane, especially fallow plant cane after starter fertilisers with adequate phosphorus have been applied.

  • Liquid One Shot® (LOS®)

A versatile nitrogen/Bio Dunder® mix for ratoon sugarcane and soils that do not require phosphorous. A popular blend with proven results in all growing regions with typical NKS (nitrogen, potassium, sulphur) requirements. Best suited to the Sarina, Mackay and Proserpine districts.

  • Liquid One Shot+P® (LOS+P®)

A popular mix for ratoon sugarcane where soils require phosphorus. Used by some growers as a plant cane top dress where insufficient phosphorus has been applied by liquid planting products. A complete NPKS fertiliser (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur), it’s best suited to the main soil types in the Mackay and Sarina regions.

  • Lo N Planter

Specifically designed for use as a pre-plant fertiliser or top dress for plant cane, where no DAP (Diammonium phosphate) or other liquid fertilisers have been used.

  • Lo P Planter

A pre-plant fertiliser which can be broadcast over fallow or applied over the drill of plant cane to supply a crop’s potassium requirement. An alternative to Bio Dunder®, its higher potassium levels can help meet the requirements of soils with low potassium reserves.

  • Lo P Ratooner

A low-phosphorus, complete NPKS (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur) product for ratoon use in the Sarina, Mackay and Proserpine districts.

  • LOS+P Liquid Preplant (Liquid Preplant)

Developed to provide all the nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and sulphur requirements of a typical fallow plant sugarcane crop in the Sarina, Mackay and Proserpine regions. We recommend a soil test be taken to check phosphorus levels prior to purchase. If appropriate, Liquid Preplant can be spread or band applied where the cane row is to be planted and cultivated into the soil, prior to cane planting.

  • LTD+P

The concentrate of DAP (Diammonium phosphate), Bio Dunder® and sulphuric acid. Used as the base for all blends containing phosphorus. We do not recommend loading this product straight without advice from a Wilmar agronomist.

  • Lucerne, Pumpkin 1, Companion 2

While not specifically designed for sugarcane, the NPKS (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur) levels in these products make them a useful option for cane growers looking to apply a crop’s complete phosphorus requirements. We recommend use in conjunction with soil testing to ensure the correct application rate is applied.

  • Mid N

Offers a higher nitrogen to potassium ratio than LOS and is used on ratoon sugarcane. Best suited for use in the Sarina, Mackay and Proserpine districts on soils with good potassium reserves.

  • Mid N+P

A complete NPKS (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur) fertiliser most suitable for soils with a moderate phosphorus requirement and good levels of potassium in reserves.

  • MKY 60, MKY 70, MKY 80

High-potassium to low-nitrogen ratio products, suitable for top dressing plant cane. These products offer flexibility, with a good source of potassium and some nitrogen to promote early growth.

  • MKY 100, MKY 110

Fertiliser blends with higher potassium to nitrogen ratios that provide choice for managing difficult soils. Essentially suited to top dressing of plant cane on high organic matter soils after starter fertilisers have been used. Also suitable for split applications. Growers with additional time may like to use these products as a top dress after harvest, before using their own fertiliser applicators to meet the crop’s total requirements with a second application. Suitable for top dressing after mill mud applications.

We recommend use in conjunction with soil testing to ensure the correct rate is applied for optimum crop production.

  • MKY 150, MKY 160

Products with moderate levels of nitrogen and that, at higher applications rates, will meet crop requirements on soils with low potassium reserves. Can be used as ratoon mixes on soils with higher organic matter levels. At low rates they can also be used to top dress plant cane following the application of a starter mix.
